1. What happens when I register online?
When you register you will be placed in our database. The information that you provide is matched to the request we receive from our Directors and Producers. They review the selections from the database and choose the extras they want to use. The information provided in the online registration is SECURED INFORMATION. You will receive a confirmation of your registration via email. If you don't have an email account, there are a number of ways to get an email account. Hotmail offers free email that can be checked from any internet connetion, anytime, anywhere.

  2. What requirements do I need to meet to qualify as an extra?
You must live within a three-hour radius of San Diego in order to be considered as an extra. Additionally, you must be a U.S. Citizen or have the proper credentials to work in the United States. You must have at least two valid forms of identifications, such as a driver's license, social security card, military ID and/or passport. Finally, you must be able to travel to our office to complete your registration offline by allowing us to take your photo. If you are registering a minor, he or she must have a current Entertainment Minor Work Permit. You can obtain this permit from the Labor Commission at 7575 Metropolitan Drive, Suite 210 in Mission Valley. The phone number is (619) 220-5451. Students must have a "C" average in EVERY CLASS in order to obtain this permit. Please be prepared when arriving by having the above proof of citizenship ready and Entertainment Minor Work Permit, if applicable.

  3. What happens if I am chosen to be an extra?
We will contact you immediately after learning that you are confirmed to work on a specific day. Please mark you calendar because we will not talk to you again until the evening prior to your scheduled day of work. At that time, it is your responsibility to contact our office at (858) 974-8970 so that we may provide you with your "Call Time" (the exact time you are required to be on the set), directions, final wardrobe and the name of the person you are to see when you arrive for work. The number of hours you may be required to work will vary. Because each day is so different, we do not know how long you will be needed ahead of time. You must be prepared to work a 14 hour day.
